University of Madras, introduced a new elective paper on Ham Radio. This is the first of kind in India, a government State run University start the ham radio paper. Five unit Syllabus were approved by the Board of Sudies. Detail syllabus will released soon. Meanwhile In Tamil, three different titles on ham radio were released.
Those books are, 1. The Ham Radio: An Introduction, 2. The Ham Radio for Youth and 3. The Ham Radio during Disaster. (Wrapper attached). All the three books authored by Dr Jaisakthivel. The fourth book "Unknown Ham Radio" will published soon.
